New Prize Regime<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It was a warm – very warm – early summer evening as we gathered for dinner at Taren Point Bowlo. Only six of us turned up, Nicole in Canberra, and Louise in NZ couldn’t make it – maybe next year ladies?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The food was good, then we did the presentations in the new style – no trophies, just envelopes, and minimal speeches. We did examine the perpetual trophy offerings from our supplier’s catalogue and decided on a design – steps will be taken to get one up and running with our logo on it ASAP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your treasurer proposed that next year we could probably afford to increase the value of our new cash awards. It was generally agreed that more desirable prizes might be $100, $50, and $25 for the first three placegetters. We should put it to a formal vote at the first opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n
