The restaurant was shut, but that didn’t stop us.
After a shaky start the dinner was a success. We turned up at Stapleton’s at the appointed time only to find the restaurant inexplicably closed, and phone calls went unanswered. So we walked down the street to the Diamond Chinese restaurant – with no reservation they quickly set a table for seven and we proceeded to enjoy the dinner, the Presidential Quiz, and the Presentation. Unfortunately Nicole couldn’t make it due to family priorities, so she will receive her 3rd place trophy at the next meeting.
