You might have noticed a different look to this site. I’ve rebuilt it from scratch using pre-packaged free software. There are a couple of advantages:
- It is somewhat easier to manage, and in theory, someone other than myself could be taught how to add news items etc.
- It is much more “phone friendly” – far easier to read on small screens. This is important for at least one member who has no other way to read it.
- It is interactive, much like Facebook where anyone can leave and/or respond to comments on any news item. Although FB served that purpose admirably, not everyone used it, but this site is available to all. To comment on a news item, select the “leave a comment” or “leave a reply” link and type away.
