The Annual Dinner – Good News & Bad News

The annual presentation event was a success, good food and good times. While the desserts were going around we had the Presidential Trivia Tournament, 20 questions including a multi-part Shakespeare question. It was quite hard this year, the winning team of Genelle-Gill-Mark scored 14/20, closely followed by the Askews on 13/20. That’s the good news. The bad news is that Nicole has resigned from SBGA and won’t be in a position to consider returning for perhaps a couple of years. Her husband will soon be posted overseas, and her daughter will be involved more seriously in ballet activites on Monday evenings, so it will be impossible for her to attend regular monthly meetings. You will be missed Nicole – all the best to you from all of us. El Prez will no doubt embark on recruitment operations very soon, or maybe other members may already know someone who might fit in.

UPDATE:
El Prez has recruited former member Jordan Thomas to replace Nicole. Jordan was last a member back in 2003, and is of course El Prez Junior.
